Tips before you start

A package download can take some time. The length of the process depends on the speed of your Internet connection. Make sure you have a Navi 80 Navigation System in your car. This system should look like:

Check the version of the package on the device to see if you need a software update.

How to check software version:

  1. Turn on your Navi 80 system.
  2. Go to the Main Menu screen.

  4. Select System to enter the system settings.

  6. Scroll right and select Status & Information to show the status and information screen.

  8. Select Version information to show the version information screen.

  10. Look at the application version. If this version is older than 11.344.3064886-8056 then an update of your software is required.

  12. Check if there is sufficient free space on your computer or USB stick. You need a minimum of 500 MB.
  13. Check that your internet connection is stable for the download.

Downloading your package

  1. Go to http://opel.navshop.com/downloads/ then select the model of your car and the navigation system.
  2. The update package for the selected options will be shown on the screen.
  3. Click on the Download button to open the download screen which will ask you to select the location for download, either on your computer or USB stick, and download the package. When using a USB stick, this should be FAT32 formatted.
  4. If your browser doesn't support the download screen,you will be given direct link(s) of the package to be downloaded onto computer or USB stick.
  5. Save the package onto the computer or in the root directory of your USB stick.
